Tournaments & games

Lineups that build themselves
Drag-and-drop batting orders and inning-by-inning fielding boards, with auto-save so nothing gets lost.
AI assistant

Fair playing time, without the spreadsheet
Every inning a player sits or fields is tracked across the tournament, so you can see at a glance who is owed innings before you build the next lineup — and show a parent the numbers instead of arguing about them.
See our fair-rotation lineup template →Pitch rest you don't have to do in your head
Pitcher workload shows last-pitched date, days of rest, and a Ready / Limited / Rest status for every arm, built on the Pitch Smart rest thresholds. Import your GameChanger per-game export and the dates come with it.
Read the Pitch Smart pitch count rules →Tournament weekends planned before Friday night
Set up the tournament, add the games you know about, and rough out lineups and pitching plans for Saturday and Sunday in one place — then adjust from the dugout when the bracket changes.
How USSSA innings limits work across a 3-day event →Share the lineup with your scorekeeper
A clean, printable lineup card with batting order and positions by inning. Hand it to the scorekeeper, tape it in the dugout, or send it to the parent running GameChanger in the stands.

Is DugoutIQ a live scoring app like GameChanger?
No. DugoutIQ is a between-games planning tool for coaches: rosters, depth charts, tournament and game planning, lineups, playing-time tracking, and pitcher rest. GameChanger (or your league's scorekeeper) still handles live scoring. You can import GameChanger CSV exports to bring pitching workload and playing time into DugoutIQ.
Does it track pitch counts and required rest days?
It tracks pitcher workload from your game data and shows each pitcher's last outing, days of rest, and a Ready / Limited / Rest status based on Pitch Smart rest guidelines. Always confirm against your league's or tournament's own rules, which may differ (Little League uses pitch counts, most USSSA events use innings).
How does it help with fair playing time?
The playing-time tracker counts innings played and innings sat per player across a tournament, so you can build the next lineup with the numbers in front of you and share a transparent breakdown with parents.
Can my assistant coaches use it too?
Yes. A team is an organization; invite your coaching staff and everyone sees the same roster, lineups, and pitching status. Player data stays scoped to your team.
What does it cost?
DugoutIQ is free to get started: create a team, add your roster, and plan your first tournament with no credit card.
Which age groups and leagues does it work for?
Any youth baseball team that plans lineups between games: rec league, Little League, travel ball and USSSA / Perfect Game style tournaments. The rules guides cover Pitch Smart, Little League and USSSA pitching limits.
